On December 1, 2006, Marcy, Renee and I said goodbye to our beloved mother. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August, she fought for four months before the disease had overtaken her system. We love her, and we miss her.
If you’d like, you may view her online obituary and sign her memory book. The obituary will be published in the Sunday and Monday editions of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The Post-Gazette also publishes a guest book that you may sign.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly forms of cancer due to the difficulty in diagnosing the disease in the early stages of its progression. To help increase awareness and research about pancreatic cancer, please donate to the American Cancer Society or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
Visitations will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210. Funeral Prayers will be said on Tuesday at 9:15 AM at Boron, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Wendelin Church in Baldwin at 10:00 AM.
