FND132 Final Project Requirements (Final due wk.11)
The final project requirements are listed below. Remember, your 2 to 3 paragraph proposal for the web site is due at the beginning of class in Week 8.
Requirements:
Fundamentals of the WWW - Final Project
- Create a website consisting of four (4) to six (6) pages that link to each other. All pages must link to one another seamlessly.
- Use only HTML/XHTML code as taught in this class. Do not use deprecated tags or invalid HTML.
- Be sure that all pages are well-formed and that each page has a title that reflects the page contents.
- The navigation between each page should be intuitive and consistent.
- Include as many examples of the code that you have learned as reasonable (images, horizontal rules, tables, formatted text, lists, etc.)
- If you are using artwork, text or other material that is owned by someone else, obtain their permission to use it.
- Pages should have a sense of continuity in the design and content.
- Use embedded CSS (internal style sheet at top of page) whenever possible
- The first/home/front page of this site must be saved as “index.html” (without the quotes).
- Pages should be well designed, have well conceived content and show that you have used a spell checker and your own eyes.
All html pages, images, etc must be uploaded to the OLS/AIP web server by the start of class. Do not change your site after this time. You will be able to change your site after you have received your final grades for the quarter.
